Each year, JK Živaana organises different activities in terms of sailing education that can be divided in two subgroups: racing/regattas and leisure.

Experienced (former) competitors teach newcomers about regatta sailing, mainly on two-handed dinghies (Fireball), on the lakes: Velenjsko and Šmartinsko jezero.

Part of sailing school is also conducted with racing and day sailing boats in Izola.

For pleasure boater we organize summer courses where basis sailing and nautical competences can be gained. The practical part is combined with theoretical lectures about sailing rules, regatta tactics and further relevant topics. Furthermore the courses include practices in sailing knots and information about meteorology. You can find course dates on our homepage or by direct contact via email.
